Brad E. Howard and BlueHaus Music
The artistic, commercial, and educational applications of sound…
This is what BlueHaus is all about.
Whether it’s a score for a short film, an arrangement for an indie rock band, an original composition for orchestra, or customized soundscape for a home or business, BlueHaus Music can produce it.

*** Normal production will be temporarily interrupted from June 1 to September 1 as we relocate to Dubai, UAE. During the summer months, I will shift my focus to concert works for commissions and contests. You’ll always be able to get in touch through this website or BlueHaus Facebook page. ***
Services
The quality range of services from BlueHaus Music is rare in a flooded market of composers and small studios. Original works for band and orchestra, arrangements, film scores, audio rendering, sound design – all in one place. As an international freelancer, my focus is on a rewarding professional collaboration and the quality of the final product. I live for impeccable audio and it is my goal with every project to provide the finest track possible.
Studio
I utilize a project studio and digital workstation for composition, film scoring, and sound design with a large library of wind, brass, string, and percussion samples, as well as an array of software synthesizers. My primary platforms for production and publication are Cubase, Logic Pro, and Finale employing an array of peripheral programs, plug-ins, and emulators.
Educator and Director
My teaching career in Illinois, Oregon and Kuwait, has seen many district, state and national recognitions and awards. Some of the many highlights include winning two GRAMMY Foundation Signature School Awards (2008, 2009) and hosting Wayne Bergeron (2008) as the featured soloist with my jazz ensemble performing professional charts by Gordon Goodwin, Bill Liston, and Tom Kubis. Furthermore, I am available for guest conducting and thoroughly enjoy working with colleagues for special events and festivals.
Clinician
As a clinician, I have presented at regional and national events in the United States, Kuwait, and most recently at the Near East South Asia Conference in Athens, Greece. Perception of sound is central to my life and I regularly present research on the impact of sound environments, specifically noise, on student achievement. Inspired by Julian Treasure’s ”Sound Education” model, I designed my Sound Learning (2012) presentation to increase awareness of the impact that noise has on student learning.
